Front seat occupants: 411 lb.
Rear seat occupants: 100 lb.
Main wing tanks: 44 gal

Add 100 pounds to the baggage area. First, with the current numbers, the CG is out of balance forward, weight will have to be added and preferably to the aft sections to bring the moment into the acceptable limits. Adding the fuel will only add weight but not pull the CG aft. Adding the 100 pounds to the baggage will move the CG aft. Calculate the gross weight of everything — 2790 plus 100 pounds equals 2890 pounds total weight. However, the aft arm of the baggage area adds 140 to the total moment arm, increasing it to 2362 pounds which now puts the CG at the new weight and in balance.
